If a blogger or spammer is committing illegal fraud you can also file a report with your local attorney general or equivalent (for the U.S. this is usually on the county or state level)… they might not take immediate action, but if enough reports are submitted and they think it’s in the public interest to pursue action they have done so in the past
To report deceptive or suspicious spam to the Federal Trade Commission, forward it to [email protected]. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.
